How we keep our prices so low

We leverage technology and cut out the middlemen.

The AI-powered symptom checker compares your symptoms to millions like you—giving you an idea of what’s wrong based on similar cases.

A clinician gets that information immediately. Often they can diagnose and treat you in minutes. No insurance needed—and no time wasted.

A membership includes 24/7 doctor access and proactive care plans to lower your future healthcare costs. Our pricing is flat, with no hidden fees.

A clinician sends your prescription to your local pharmacy—some medication can be shipped by us for free. You also get an Rx discount card to save you up to 80%.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use an FSA or HSA to pay?

Yes, telemedicine and telehealth is eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) and health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Telehealth or telemedicine is not eligible for reimbursement with a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).

You can submit a claim to your FSA, HSA, or HRA provider to be reimbursed each time you make a payment for your Primary Care membership or specialized treatment plan. You can submit a claim or use a FSA or HSA debit card to pay for one-time visits. You can’t use your FSA or HSA debit card for any membership or treatment plan payments because those are recurring payments.

You can also use your FSA, HSA, and HRA to pay for prescription medications.

How does K Health use AI?

We use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to connect the anonymous medical records of millions of people—so you can instantly compare your symptoms to millions of People Like You to see what could be wrong. This information can then help the clinicians at K Health speed up diagnosis, and spend more time treating you.

Our platform is based on a machine-learning algorithm that’s trained on millions of real-world patient and doctor visits. It’s explained in detail in multiple medical journals, including Medicine and in Journal of Medical Internet Research

While the K Health Symptom Checker cannot provide a definitive diagnosis or treatment recommendation, it does empower you with free information that’s personalized to you. Clinicians are available 24/7 to discuss your results, and give you a diagnosis or treatment.

What conditions can K Health treat?

The clinicians at K Health can remotely treat adults and children ages 3-84 with hundreds of different conditions. This includes prescribing medication, ordering lab tests and imaging, and follow-up care.

We offer one-time visits, as well as a Primary Care membership, which gives adults (and their children over age 3) unlimited access to doctors for non-emergency urgent and everyday care concerns such as UTIs, sinusitis, dental infections, prescription management, and cough and cold symptoms. We also offer specialized care plans for conditions like erectile dysfunction, anxiety, and depression.

There are some conditions that we cannot yet treat remotely, such as orthopedic issues and middle ear infections. However our clinicians can order labs as needed, recommend treatment, and in some cases, prescribe medication.

Learn more about what treatments we cannot treat here.

Do you need insurance to use K Health?

Nope! Talking to a doctor or nurse practitioner is the same affordable price with or without insurance. Plus, our symptom checker is absolutely free. Learn more about our approach to pricing

How much does K Health cost?

It’s free to use the symptom checker.

If you want to chat with a clinician, a one-time visit costs $19. This includes three days of follow-up and access to a clinician.

For unlimited access to doctors, you can sign up for our Primary Care membership for only $9 per month. If you enroll in our membership, you’ll automatically be charged every three months ($27) until you cancel.
