Our approach mirrors the primary care experience. You’ll start with a conversation with K and learn how others like you were treated. You’ll then connect with a doctor who can diagnose your condition and its severity and provide a comprehensive treatment plan that may include some combination of self-guided behavioral health resources, medications, and/or referral to a therapist or psychiatrist. From then on, you will have to check in monthly for a brief consultation with our doctors or clinicians to receive your refill but don’t worry, we will remind you via text when it is time to check in.
In order to provide the best options for depression and anxiety treatment online, we prescribe medications that are considered the safest first-line in the treatment for these conditions. Learn more about what we treat and what prescriptions we provide here. We start with the lowest dose that is medically appropriate and adjust slowly to the extent required. In combination with our bi-weekly follow-ups, we aim to avoid side effects outright or catch them before they become serious.
Everyone has access to a free evaluation to determine if remote care to treat their anxiety and depression could be a good fit. Whether you’re a candidate for our monthly program or not, anyone can decide to talk with one of our doctors to determine the best path to treatment but there will be instances where doctors or clinicians decide it would be safer to be treated in person.
Our Mental Health service is only available for adults 18-85.
While treating mental health carries inherent risk, the risk of not treating mental health is far greater. Treatment is tailored to you based on your symptoms, your needs, your experiences and your preferences. For some, this may be therapy; for others, medications and for others, both. We know medication will not impact every person the same way which is why we insist on consistent follow-ups. To err on the side of safety, we do not treat people with severe depression or those with high risk features remotely.
After you finish our free assessment and fill out your payment information, you will have to complete enrollment by downloading our app, creating a profile, and connecting to a doctor who can figure out the best treatment plan for you. Follow these steps:
